This birthday officially put me closer to 40 than to 30, which means skincare is more important than ever. While I’ve always been a big fan of taking special care of my skin, I want to invest even more to ensure I remain youthful and can put my best face forward.
In the past, I’ve done facials once or twice a year, but this next year I’d like to up my commitment to treating my face to all the serums, masks and love it deserves.
Caroline Hudson of Skin by CHA invited me in to get a signature osmosis facial designed to build collagen for 30 days and revive the skin! The treatment was a glorious hour and a half that gently resurfaces the epidermis using retinaldehyde (a more potent but gentle form of Vitamin A) to encourage cell renewal.
It increases firmness, elasticity and collagen production (30 days), reduces the production of oil, restores capillary flow and nutrition to the skin and lifts hyperpigmentation.
It felt so good to have my skin cleansed, exfoliated and steamed along with extractions, infusion, a mask, neck & arm massage, and hydration. We ended the treatment with red LED light therapy to help reduce my redness.
I walked out of there with my skin LITERALLY glowing and it still looks great today. If you’ve been thinking of a non-invasive way to breathe new life into your skin, a facial could be just the ticket.
For local Tallahassee ladies, be sure to check out Skin by CHA and if you book the “Thrive by Ivette” facial, which is valued at $155, but currently 25% off! If you’re not local, check out my Instagram post for a special product giveaway.
